  • Education:  Pat Harris reported from the Response magazine.

  • Social Action:  Effie Kemp reported that she is concerned somewhat about Operation Blessing.  Budget constraints from sponsoring churches have caused funding to be strained.  Operation Blessing is working with other churches such as Glendale Church of Christ to work together to remedy this.  The pantry remains open.  The people served are mainly the elderly who don’t drive and struggle to get to Needline.  Operation Blessing helps to provide items such as over-the-counter medicines and toilet paper that Needline does not distribute.  Approximately 100 people a month are served.

  • Communications:  Marcia Koenecke reported that 3 articles were sent to the district newsletter.
